IFC is owned by AMC Network and it distributes independent films under its own name, some foreign films, documentaries under its Sundance Selects label, and genre films under IFC Midnight. IFC Films is a film production and distribution company based out of New York City and many of their films have won awards such as the Golden Globe Awards.
